Each TBox RM2 device has five ports including an RS232 for local configuration and programming an RS485 for field device networking, Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP and a USB 2.0 host.



The TBox RM2 module is easily connects a wide variety of end devices and sensors such as motors, pumps, flow meters, and pressure transmitters to RTUs and PLCs over standard Ethernet networks (Modbus/TCP) or RS485 (ModBus RTU).


I/O configurations

The TBox RM2 has a variety of I/O configurations making it ideal for a broad range of a broad range of asset management, monitoring, and process automation applications. Configurations include:

  • 8 analogue inputs and 16 digital inputs / outputs (3 of which can be counter inputs)
  • 8 analogue inputs, 16 digital inputs / outputs (3 of which can be counter inputs) and 2 analogue outputs
  • 6 analogue inputs, 2 Pt1000 temperature inputs and 16 digital inputs / outputs (3 of which can be counter inputs)
  • 6 analogue inputs, 2 Pt1000 temperature inputs, 16 digital inputs / outputs (3 of which can be counter inputs) and 2 analogue outputs
