Servelec Technologies’ Technical Director Marcus Fowler will be speaking at two major UK water industry events next week, discussing how to optimise energy usage and unlocking the potential of demand side response (DSR) systems.
The Water & Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Water Industry Energy Conference 2018 takes place on the 12th June at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre. Now in its 5th year, the WWT Water Industry Energy Conference explores how the regulatory agenda is affecting energy efficiency plans and how best to capitalise on emerging trends and technologies.
Water & The Circular Economy, a British Water event, is part of the International Business Festival 2018, and takes place on the 14th June at the Exhibition Centre, Liverpool. This conference will highlight the considerable business opportunity of building a circular water economy, helping stakeholders meet clients and providing a vital shop window for global buyers and thought leaders to learn about Circular Economy expertise.
At these events, Marcus will be discussing how water companies can save money while ensuring security of supply and regulatory compliance by implementing an optimisation system to schedule operations to avoid peak times and exploit dynamic flexible tariffs, and to assist in selection of different DSR opportunities and automatically respond to operating reserve requests. Servelec Technologies will also be exhibiting a range of smart water and wastewater solutions, including asset planning and leakage detection software.
Marcus Fowler, Technical Director at Servelec Technologies, commented, “I am delighted to be a part of both of these key events in the UK water industry and very happy to be discussing how to optimise energy usage; it’s a great opportunity to share knowledge and work alongside our peers from the industry.”
